I’m quickly learning that the very things that wear us out are often the same things that fill our hearts. And… that even when we finally get the quiet we thought we wanted, home still sounds a whole lot better.

Here’s to the moms holding it down while their spouse serves. The ones carrying the invisible load. The ones making magic out of ordinary days. The ones showing up tired, but still have a smile on their face.

I hope this next chapter feels like yours too. Not just something you survived. Something you lived.

This Mother’s Day, I’m thankful for the mess. For the fingerprints on my table. For the paint on their little palms. For the chance to pause long enough to notice just how beautiful this ordinary afternoon really is.

Because one day, these tiny handprints will be bigger than mine. And I already know I’ll miss them.
